Well, i don't know wether many of the people i write for will read this.. anyway, i just felt like showing the places i went (my mother's house and the countryside) and the things i did (my first onigiris !!)..We had non working day on tuesday and the company i work for turned the monday into a kind of warmly suggested holiday... so that was a quite long week-end, and i decided to go to my mother's place.. she lives in a house, about 1 hour train east from Paris, but when you get there, it really feels like countryside... This is the view from her bedroom, and as you can see, the Marne river is pretty close..
there lots of vineyards, as it is a famous place for Champagne, though not yet the exact place...
And walking in the vineyard is something with usually go forwhen i'm there, not exactly climbing Mount Takao but still.. some little climbing.
And eventhough the weather was very cloudy, the leaves'colour just brought some kind of sun colour in the landscape.
We also had a little stroll in the forest, but couldn't find any mushroom.. i guess it is too cold now to have chance enough to find the famous edible ones...
This is a glass recycling factory.. our 'mitsubishi rafinery' here... !
even found some wasabi-cheak peas near my house, and there are great !!

I had some nice time with my sister and with her baby cat Lili, who just turned 3 month... i don't know any girl able to resist a kitten's charm, and i didn't try to anyway.
Then back in Paris, i planned a small reception with fiends, to share the trip's pictures and some japanese recipe... well that was my first time making onigiris, so i have to practice a little before they a perfect but i tried some : soy sauce mushrooms onigiri, daiko and rice vinegar onigiri and petsai with sesame oil onigiri.
Then they were some smoked salmon-cream mushroom and cucumber maki.

and because of my sweet tooth, i tried some kind of japanese chestnut cakes....
Wish you could share it with us...

As i had some time left, i customised a mirror for a collegue's daughter who just turned 1 year old and already had many clothes as gift...

Hope to hear from you all soon !
Take care
